Amazon Music and ArtDontSleep presents Produced By Adrian Younge with Ali Shaheed and the rest of The Midnight Hour plus special guests Black Thought, Estelle, Gallant, Georgia Anne Muldrow and many more!

This was a free event in honor of all of the amazing music that was released exclusively on Amazon Music for their #ProducedBy series featuring Adrian Younge. In honor of Black History Month, Adrian dropped a single every week to celebrate the black music culture and showcase some of his favorite artists to work with.

First release was with Georgia Anne Muldrow and Terrace Martin with the track “February”. For Adrian, working with Terrace Martin and Georgia Anne Muldrow was incredible. They both have tastes that are equally eclectic as his own and they fed off of this energy in the studio. When Amazon Music asked Adrian to participate in their #producedby series, He knew that he wanted to set the tone with these two incredible people.

The second release featured the amazing voice of Estelle! Many of you all may not have known that she started her career off as a formidable MC and began singing thereafter. When you listen to her music, her pocket is always incredible and it makes sense that she got bars! This Amazon Music exclusive is streaming now and is entitled, “Home.”

The third release was with one of the greats, Mr. Black Thought himself. The Midnight Hour, Adian Younge and Ali Shaheed, asked him to write a song for #blackhistorymonth with them and he scripted “Noir.” Its a very cultivated description on being black in America.

The last and final release with Amazon Music was with Gallant, and this is not the first time we have seen both Adrian and Gallant working together. Their first project was back in 2015 for Red Bull Music, on the track “Skipping Stones” featuring Jhene Aiko and produced by our very own Adrian Younge. This song is entitled “Strobelights” and this tune is about sometimes feeling like outsiders as young black men...it started on piano and ended with a full orchestra. It’s amazing what you can do when you believe in your vision.

A night for the fans.

Definitely one for the books.

Thank you.
