"Back to School" Kids Hairstyle tutorial
It's back to school for most kids in LA and lice prevention is important. Lice does not discriminate hair types, but they often stray away from tea tree, eucalyptus, lavender, and/or peppermint. My kids have curly hair and I have been using Deva hair care for curly hair and Babo Botanicals Tea Tree Spray leave in hair conditioner for lice prevention.
Styling my 2 year old's hair in the morning gets challenging. I normally would do it while she is eating or watching something on kids YouTube. My twisted hairstyle has been quick and easy. It keeps her hair from getting so tangled everyday.
Back to school morning curly hair challenges. Use Deva curl hair care and Babo Botanicals Tea Tree Lice Repel conditioning spray for moisture, hold, and lice prevention.
Step 1 : Spray Tea Tree lice prevention leave in conditioner all over hair.
Step 2 : Spray Deva curl leave in conditioner for extra moisture as curly hair needs moisture. Comb or brush through. I have been using the Wet brush for dry/wet hair it's so easy to get tangles out of hair.
Step 3 : Apply about a quarter size of Deva curl styling cream all over hair. Comb or brush through.
Step 4 : Optional - Apply about a quarter size of Deva curl gel for extra holding power.
Step 5 : Part hair on the side or middle. Twist hair away from face starting at the top of head and as you twist down, take hair from the sides of head all the way down to nape of neck. Use fabric elastic band to hold in place and then twist hair on the other side. Take place holder band off and use to connect the tails together for one low ponytail.
Step 5 : Spray Tea Tree lice prevention leave in conditioner again for extra measure.
