Grey Hair Days

Most people would blame grey hair days over all the stress they may encounter on a daily basis as they mature over time. Me being a business owner, wife of a busy musician, mother of 2, oldest sister of 3, and daugher of maturing parents, would probably be the blame of my growing grey hair days, but I embrace them as well as I am embracing my grey hairs. I'm not as grey yet, but am embracing them and glad that this grey hair trend is here. 

I'm having a great grey hair day!  Incorporated a grey rhinestone button up with a burgundy velvet suit jacket, gold accessories, and my mom's vintage burgundy boots for some brightness. 

If you are one of my clients who have been coming in frequently to see me to cover or hide your greys...you know I love grey hair. Grey hair in most of my clients help me get closer to more of an ash tone in dark hair where most of my clients have darker hair don't want to see the brassiness color tones that dark hair gives off after their hair color toner wears off. My solution is to overcast the grey hair by keeping your natural hair and adding baby lights, which are very thin highlights and lowlights to blend the natural  greys into the processed hair color. Sometimes this process can take lots of sessions to get to a more ashy hair color because most clients would have used really dark hair color over time. It takes time to get lighter, but it's been my solution to not coming in every month to cover your greys, but coming in every 3 months instead to touch up and blend/overcast the greys. Schwarzkopf hair color and hair care has been my favorite to use. I've been using this color line for about 18 years and I'm still loving it! I have formulated my own dark grey hair color toner and use their silver shampoo and color toning mousse to keep my hair from getting brassy.
