Our book signing with Allen Thayer on his newest book about the musical legacy behind Tim Maia at The Artform Studio was most definitely the refresher we needed before João Donato’s upcoming show this Sunday. João shared with us so many stories that were never even captured or documented, and everyone who came through was a diehard fan of the true origins behind this Brazilian culture.
